2nd December Street is a well-known road in Al Satwa, Dubai, United Arab Emirates with numerous cafes, food joints and restaurants that turned out to be a frolic street in the evening. The street used to be known as Al Diyafah Road but now named as 2nd December Street to commemorate the union of the seven (7) emirates of the UAE namely: Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Qaiwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Dubai. The street runs from the World Trade Centre roundabout to Jumeirah Beach Road at the Union House intersection where the highest flagpole in Dubai can be found.
