Pantry Café, the popular all day dining restaurant that has fast become the place to see and be seen in the Safa Park district, unveils an exciting selection of new dishes. Both savoury and sweet, these offerings compliment the already extensive menu, ranging from healthy breakfast options to a wider selection of sandwiches, a new gourmet pizza flavour for meat lovers and indulgent desserts.
Catering to the diverse needs of its international customers for whom breakfast means different things, the restaurant adds three new breakfast options. The Full English, as it is aptly named, is a meal option of two eggs, choice of sausage, veal bacon, baked beans, toasted bread and AOP butter. For those yearning for something more authentic and in keeping with the locale, the restaurant introduces the Middle-Eastern Breakfast; a combination of eggs baked over spinach, served with lamb kebabs in pomegranate dressing, morning salad and a feta and halloumi flatbread. Both these breakfast meals come with a fresh orange juice and choice of hot beverage. Finally, for those looking for lighter breakfast option, the kitchen brings the health giving Organic Oats; rolled organic oats cooked in low-fat milk with carob honey, cinnamon powder, raisins and prunes and topped with toasted almonds. The breakfast menu can now be enjoyed from 8am to 3pm on weekends.
Pantry Café also makes the all-day-dining menu more exciting with addition of the Dukkah Lamb Chops, that are seasoned with Middle Eastern spices, grilled and served on a bed of lemony quinoa salad, and a Burger Sliders dish that comes with one mini Wagyu, one mini lamb, and one mini chicken burger all in brioche buns. A slightly lighter addition to the lunch selection is the Beetroot Salad; a delectable mix of beetroot, arugula, strawberries, toasted walnuts and crumbled goats cheese tossed in a mango vinaigrette dressing, in addition to many new salads and main dishes.
The all-new dessert menu gives the customers many scrumptious options to choose from. Customers can now find on the menu a sweet selection of desserts from the very traditional Tiramisu to an unusual pairing of The Salted Caramel, Apple n' Date Crumble. Other additions include options such as the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie, Banoffee in a Jar, Chocolate Chunks Pizza and a selection of ice creams.
Kids also have a dedicated menu with wholesome and healthy selections for breakfast, all-day dining as well as a selection of beverages, perfect for the little ones. The breakfast menu has classic options such as the Classic Eggs, served sunny-side up or scrambled with a choice of sausage and baked pumpkin crisps, the all-time favourite French Toast and Mini Pancakes. The choice of main courses for kids is vast and is specially curated for the picky kids with dishes such as the Linguine with hidden Veggies, Mini Pizza Margherita, Grilled Cheese Triangles and a simple choice of Peanut Butter & Jam Sandwich. To quench their thirst, kids can choose hot or cold drinks options and have their own dose of Babycino, the first one being on the house at Pantry Café.
With this re-vamped menu, Pantry Café promises to offer a near perfect all-day dining experience with an unspoiled neighbourhood sense of belonging. The restaurant embodies the true values of a pantry by showcasing an open-kitchen concept, a live pizzeria and a beverage bar that strikes an alluring balance between a cozy neighbourhood hangout and a vibrant epicentre of culinary chic.
