Hotel Details And Overview
Everything at the Amwaj Rotana is large and magnificent, yet the mood is quiet, with nothing too overpowering or extravagant to detract from the peaceful environment. With high ceilings and dark wood flooring and wall panels, the lobby is open and expansive. Antique furnishings are tucked away in nooks, and a sunken couch invites guests to unwind. The hotel is bright and depends largely on natural sunlight, with just the beach and ocean visible on the horizon.
The majority of guests are come to relax and enjoy their vacation, thus there is a nice and easy-going environment throughout.
Dining Restaurants And Bars
Horizon, All-Day Dining – Overlooking the ocean, this restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and supper and specializes in international cuisine.
Rosso, Italian Restaurant – This restaurant specializes on Italian food and offers lunch and supper, with views of the ocean and pool. Guests may order beverages and dine outdoors at the bar (weather permitting). There is a children’s menu available.
Benihana, a Japanese restaurant that serves breakfast and supper, specializing on sushi.
JB’s Gastropub – This gastropub serves lunch and dinner and specializes in British cuisine.
Rosso’s Fumo Lounge focuses in local food and exclusively serves supper. There is a happy hour. It’s open every day.
Property Features & Amenities
The Sundeck Pool Bar is suitable for casual eating and is a great place to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of The Walk. Weights, aerobic equipment, a sauna, steam room, and a hot tub are all available in the hotel’s Bodylines gym. There are also personal trainers and massage therapists on hand. Non-overnight guests have access to the gym during the day, but hotel guests have access 24 hours a day. There are two heated outdoor pools at the Amwaj (one adult, one for kids). A ballroom with seating for up to 350 people and three conference rooms that may be set up in any form or style for presentations and meetings are available.
